The Soteria Defense 4 Hour Tactical Casualty Care / Tactical Emergency Casualty Care provides the techniques and training to render medical aid as quickly as possible to victims of serious injury. This course includes core concepts from our California POST / EMSA approved courses. You will learn how to triage and treat injuries from minor to life threatening. The life you save may be yours, a co-worker, friend, or loved one.

This course focuses on the leading cause of preventable death and how to treat injuries when violence and trauma is the mechanism of injury. These skills are critical for anyone who is a “functional first responder” such as security services, California BSIS Security Guards, Executive Protection specialists. This also includes anyone who may have the need to provide immediate care for serious injuries including Concealed Weapon / CCW permit holders, firearms enthusiasts, and anyone who needs to upskill their training beyond basic and advanced first aid.

The key difference between the 4 hour program and the 8 hour POST / EMSA Tactical Casualty Care (TCC) is this course focuses on individual self aid & aid to others techniques but does not include instruction on command & control, tactical rescue operations, and threat assessments required for first responders.
