De-escalation, conflict resolution, crisis response & mitigation
This course teaches you how to maintain safety by recognizing conflict, engaging in de-escalation and resolution, and when necessary how to safely and appropriately respond to a crisis and mitigate the risk of a combative person.

The Soteria Defense de-escalation, conflict resolution, crisis response & mitigation course teaches you a systematic approach to safely and successfully resolve encounters ranging from customer service issues to potential combative persons. This course is for anyone including safety and security team members, security agents, event staff, counselors, school staff, or anyone who may need to skills to increase their personal safety or safety in their space.
This course features approximately 2 hours of de-escalation and conflict resolution training, including live student interaction and practice of the skills. The course also features approximately 2 hours of crisis response & mitigation including defensive techniques to avoid injury, and safe control techniques including handcuffs / flexcuff techniques as a last resort.

- Basic communication skills
